Overview
The project is 500 units of 2 and 3 bedroom fully detached bungalows built at Corporation estate at Kemta Extension Housing Estate, Olokuta, Abeokuta, the project was an initiative of the Federal Government under the leadership of former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in association with Nigerian Building and RoadResearch Institute (NIBRI).
The scheme was a presidential directive for every state of the federation to build five hundred units of 2&3 bedroom bungalows with interlocking bricks technology which is made from laterite is aimed at using locally sourced raw materials in the deliveryof low cost houses to the people of the country.
